This circa 1890s building, located in distinctive Logan Circle at the intersection of 11th and P street N.W. is symbolic of the revitalization of this historic part of Washington, DC. Lance Bailey & Associates, Inc., in keeping within the Historic Restoration Standards, transformed this neglected building into a landmark structure in the Logan Circle area. So significant was the transformation that the building was featured on the front page of the In Towner Newspaper. Completed in August 2002, this building now features all new Pella windows as well as extensive re-pointing of the exterior brick work and the restoration of lintels, ornamental metalwork, new copper trims and gutters were added and sensitive highlighting of the exquisite detailing which are part of the exterior composition. A new wrought iron ornamental fence replaced a chain link fence and serves to give the building the dignity it deserves.
